03: Dr. Chris Ullman, Vietnam Vet, Short Range Ambush Patrol (SRAP)

 

Dr. Chris Ullman joined the United States Army in 1967 and served for two years.

He deployed to Vietnam and served there from 1968 to 1969.

He he was assigned to the 1/50th Infantry Brigade; attached to the 173rd Airborne.

While in-country he was part of a specialized unit called SRAP (Short Range Ambush Patrol), nicknamed “Holloway’s Raiders.”

Dr. Chris is a recipient of a Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Campaign Ribbons, and is a recipient of 1 Purple Heart.

Dr. Chris has been an active member of the Rotary Club of Manhattan Beach in Southern California for 43 years.

He has a passion to serve and supports first responders and military veterans.
